The study of the individual dialects spoken in each village of the oasis is being conducted by Emeritus Professor Woidich, University of Amsterdam, in order to study the growth of language alterations.  With this knowledge, Prof Woidich can assess population movements and relations, as well as changes in language.  OF immediate benefit to the project are the stories related to us at the dinner table which have been learned during that day’s interviews.
